Casey James ~ Girls Like the "Bad Boys"

Kara DioGuardi knew it from the moment she saw him. There was just something in Casey James' eyes that said "Bad Boy" and she knew he'd take off his shirt when she asked.

American Idol hopeful Casey James wowed some of the other judges as well at his Colorado audition, but removing his shirt and letting down his hair probably got him his Golden Ticket.

"But the judges in the state of Texas weren’t so easily won over by the 27-year-old wannabe singer’s casual good looks, coming down hard on him and sentencing him to jail on two separate occasions," according to Radar Online. They learned that "James has a criminal background and has served time in county jail following offenses of driving while intoxicated, driving with an invalid license and reckless driving."

"The first listed offense, for reckless driving, is from 11/03/01. James pled guilty, was fined $200 and given 30 days in jail as well as being placed on probation for 12 months."

"Next up, on 12/29/02 James was busted for driving with an invalid license, to which he pled guilty, was fined $200 and sentenced to 30 days in jail. Finally, on the same date James was arrested for driving while intoxicated, to which he also pled guilty, was fined $300 and sentenced to 75 days in jail."

While the ladies fought to get this hot Bad Boy to Hollywood, Simon Cowell told him bluntly, “That was a bad audition”, and Randy Jackson was not feeling the vibe.

He's living proof that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover; his singing has proved that there's a lot more to this Bad Boy than just good looks and chiseled abs.
